We had the pleasure of meeting (and falling head over heels in love with) Paisley today. She had clearly been bred repeatedly and was heartworm positive when Dolly’s Foundation rescued her from a kill shelter in central Florida. She went through heartworm treatment and needed a place to crash until she finds her forever home. Guess who came home with us today? 
Can you believe that a girl as stunningly beautiful and sweet as Paisley ended up in a kill shelter? It absolutely breaks my heart, and Paisley was one of the lucky ones. She reminds us why we do what we do – so we can save more Paisleys.
We hooked up with Erica’s nieces and enlisted their help for a project we’re collaborating with Dolly’s Foundation and Tampa Bay Bullies on. More to come on this project later… I can’t reveal any details yet, but it’s going to be awesome!
